Festival book donation drive
We will be holding a book drive during the festival weekend on April 2 and 3 to help flood-affected libraries in northern NSW rebuild their collections. Please drop off your new or near-new books at the information table in Wheeler Place, adjacent to the Civic Theatre, from 9.30am to 4.00pm. We will ensure your books are packed and sent to Lismore.
- Adult fiction
- Adult and junior nonfiction, including books on parenting topics
- Junior and Young Adult fiction
- Children’s picture books
- Children’s DVDs
- Jigsaws (no missing pieces
- Audio books
Also consider buying and donating a new book from our festival bookshop, which is managed by MacLean’s Booksellers and located on the lower ground floor of Newcastle City Hall.

All financial donations will be used to rebuild libraries impacted by storms and flooding across northern NSW. Please make donations to the following Richmond Tweed Regional Library gift account:

Please email admin@rtrl.nsw.gov.au when you make your donation with the following information:

• Address
• Date of deposit
• Amount of deposit
Your email will allow admin staff to generate a tax-deductible receipt. Contact from the library on receipt of your payment may be delayed at this time, but they will respond as soon as possible.
