Magdalena Ball is a novelist, poet, reviewer, and interviewer. She is the managing editor of Compulsive Reader, a well-respected book review site that is now in its 20th year. She is the author of two novels and three poetry books. She has also co-authored six poetry chapbooks and won or shortlisted in several Australian and international competitions including The Newcastle Poetry Prize, the Melbourne Poets Union International Poetry Prize, the Philip Bacon Ekphrasis award, Literary Nillumbik, and Catchfire Press’ Home is the Hunter competition, to name a few.
