Katharine Pollock (PhD) writes funny stories about ordinary people leading complicated lives. She is the author of Starry Eyed (Wakefield Press, 2025) and Her Fidelity (Penguin Random House, 2022).

Katharine currently works as a program manager but has variously worked as a proofreader, high school English teacher, creative writing tutor, record shop salesperson, book shop salesperson, op shop salesperson, tea salesperson, PhD mentor, research assistant, admin assistant, and lifelong professional overthinker. When not writing or working, she can usually be found on the couch with her husband and their two guinea pigs, watching reruns of beloved 90s TV shows.
