Entries short-listed for the national category will be announced on November 1 and winners of both categories will be announced at a special event at the 2017 Newcastle Writers Festival, 7 to 9 April.

All finalists will be published in the Landmarks anthology along with invited writers from across Australia. Landmarks will be officially launched at the 2017 Newcastle Writers Festival.
