Patrice Newell AM has been writing about food systems and rural matters for more than 20 years. She is the author of five books, including Who’s Minding the Farm? (Penguin Random House 2019). After 35 years in agriculture, she is switching attention to finance in this climate emergency as co-founder of Kwala Pty Ltd, a responsible investment app. She is an adjunct associate lecturer at University of Newcastle and co-host of the podcast Bee Therapy.
