Dan Beazley is an obnoxious digital creative and a maker of websites and media. He is a new music listener, a player of multiple musical instruments and a culture obsessive who talks way too much about Japan. When he was younger, he paid the bills playing music on stages up and down the east coast of Australia but, once he turned 30, he decided it was time to get a real job. In 2013, he graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Arts in Internet Communication and started an online publication called Newcastle Live with local entertainment entrepreneur, Steven Pickett. Since then, Newcastle Live has grown to become the Hunter’s source of information about what’s on and where it’s happening. In 2020, Dan and Steven started work on the Australia Live network and launched an online radio station focused on local news, culture, and music.
