BottomNina Romeru is a Mulubinba/Newcastle-based neo-soul artist. Following her debut release of ‘adore’, Nina has played many shows in Newcastle and further afar including a sold-out launch for her second single ‘golden’. Nina has drawn her inspiration from soul/indie artist YEBBA, neo-soul/pop artist Lianne La Havas and new age Australian experimental band Hiatus Kaiyote. She incorporates a blend of jazz, funk and hip-hop in her work.
Her soulful vocals and background of classical training contribute to a gentle and emotive sound. Nina is an introspective storyteller whose music will carry you on a journey of love, passion, heartache and the rollercoaster of life with strong themes of power and identity.
