BottomEmma Ashmere’s short story collection Dreams They Forgot follows her novel The Floating Garden, which was shortlisted for the SPUNC Book of the Year. She’s the winner of the 2024 joanne burns Microlit Award Open Category. She was shortlisted for the Carmel Bird Digital Award, Commonwealth Writers Award, The Age, NUW/Fair Australia Prize, Newcastle Short Story Competition. Her work has appeared in Meanjin, Overland, NGVmagazine and Griffith Review. She lives on Bundjalung country in northern New South Wales.
