Hung Le

Biography

Hung Le was one of the first Vietnamese refugees to arrive in Australia by boat and has gone on to build a successful comedy career, appearing at major festivals locally and internationally. He has been named a favourite at Montreal’s Just for Laughs comedy festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Hung has made documentaries for the ABC, SBS, and the Discovery Channel, and has appeared in films including The Wog Boy, Fat Pizza and Broken Hill. His memoir The Crappiest Refugee was published in 2018.
