Beth Spencer

Biography

Beth Spencer is an award-winning author of poetry, fiction and essays. Her poetry includes The Party of Life (Flying Islands), the verse memoir, Vagabondage (UWAP), and a new collection Never Too Late (PressPress). She has received a number of awards including The Age Short Story Award, The Dinny O’Hearn Fellowship, runner up for the Steele Rudd Award for How to Conceive of a Girl (Vintage/Random House), and in 2018 she was the inaugural winner of the Carmel Bird Digital Literary Award for her short fiction collection The Age of Fibs, now a Spineless Wonders ebook.
