Writing Indigenous Lives
In the not-too-distant past, non-Indigenous authors gave little consideration to the sensitivity of writing about Aboriginal people and places in fiction. Times have changed and there is now an expectation that writers look more fully at the impact of colonisation and get representation right. Paul Daley, Eleanor Limprecht and Jock Serong share how they approached the inclusion of Aboriginal protagonists and culturally significant places in their new novels.
Hosted by Nardi Simpson.
