

Vaughan Rapatahana (Te Ātiawa) commutes between homes in Hong Kong, the Philippines and Aotearoa New Zealand. He is published globally across several genres, including linguistic critique and poetry, in his two main languages te reo Māori and te reo Ingarihi. In 2022 and 2023 he is editing/co-editing two follow-up volumes to Witi Ihimaera’s seminal TE AO MĀRAMA; a collection of Oceanic-Pacific poetry; and an anthology of New Zealand multilingual micro-fiction. Three other books, including a collection of his poetry written in te reo Māori titled TE PĀHIKAHIKATANGA, will be published during 2022.
