BottomBorn in South Africa and raised in Ireland before calling Australia home, Tim started his acting career at age 10 on the Sydney Opera House stage. Star of X-men Origins: Wolverine and beloved series Dance Academy, Tim has spent the last few years as an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQIA community following his appearance on Louise Milligans 4 Corners expose on the controversial religious sect Opus Dei. Working anlongside Equality Australia, Tim was involved in recent legislative changes making conversion therapy practices illegal in NSW, due to his own exposure to these practices. His book, The The Truth Will Set You Free: Growing Up Gay in Opus Dei, details his experiences being raised in an extremely conservative world as a gay man and his journey of self discovery. His latest film, Body Blow, is due for release later this year.
