BottomSusan Francis’ novel, Revelation Beach, was released by Wild Dingo Press, 1 October 2025, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of The Balibo Five executions. She was awarded a Writers Victoria Neilma Sidney Travel Fund, in 2022, to research the book, and in 2024, won an ASA mentorship to complete it. Her memoir, The Love that Remains, was published in 2020 by Allen & Unwin, and her short stories have appeared in The Saturday Paper, Island Magazine, The West Australian, Newcastle Short Story Anthology, Better Read than Dead Anthology and Meniscus Literary Journal, amongst others. She has also been listed for the prestigious Bridport Prize. Susan has a graduate degree in Australian Literature, and recently completed a Master’s in Creative Writing at Macquarie University. She lives and works on Awabakal Country.
