Sarah-Jane Page is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Aston University, UK. She is a sociologist of religion specialising in gender and sexuality research, utilising feminist approaches. She has co-authored six books on various topics such as sexuality and religion, young people and sexuality, and anti-abortion activism. Sarah-Jane is currently investigating child sexual abuse inquiries in the UK context, examining how religious institutions respond to trauma and the further harms enacted through organisational processes to protect the institution. She will specifically address how survivors of abuse within minority religions are treated, examining the ways in which they are further silenced, having fewer outlets for telling their story.
