Sarah Holland-Batt is a Prime Minister’s Literary Award-winning writer, editor and critic, and a Professor of Creative Writing at QUT. She is the author of three books of poems—ARIA (2008), THE HAZARDS (2016) and THE JAGUAR (2022)—and a book of essays, FISHING FOR LIGHTNING (2021), collecting her columns on contemporary poetry for The Australian. She is presently the 2022 Judy Harris Writer in Residence at the University of Sydney’s Charles Perkins Centre.
