BottomPhil graduated with a BA in Communications from Charles Sturt Uni in 1978. He is a writer, actor and pianist. He has written three plays, The Exchange, Islands in a Sea of Confusion and Chopin’s Last Tour. His fourth play, Delivering Debussy, will open in July 2026. He is also the published author of two novels, The Red Dust, and Driving For, through Black Cockie Press. He is the founder in 2016 of the very successful Newcastle Fringe Festival.
