BottomPenny Macoun is a writer from Sydney. Her dream of becoming an author became reality in 2020 and since then she has self-published four picture books: Gorkle (2020), Rollo’s Wet Surprise (2021), The Christmas Door (2022 & Two Can Be Trouble (2024). Penny has also contributed a piece in the Anthology, Living with Illness and Disability: Poised on the Pointe of Pain (2025). She has always loved writing and is now fulfilling her dream of being a published author. Penny was born with her illness and disabilities, but she has never let them stop her doing the things she loves. Penny has more ideas for children and adults to write, so her writing career is looking bright.
