BottomNina Cullen is a Newcastle writer and reader. Her award-winning fiction, essays, memoir, journalism, and scripts have been published both nationally and internationally, with work appearing in Australian Book Review, The Big Issue Fiction Edition, Meniscus, Island, Sleepers Almanac, Taste – Fresh New Writing, Imagining Ourselves, The Sydney Morning Herald, and The Guardian.
Nina is also part of the Newcastle Writer’s Festival Story Hunter program, bringing creative writing workshops into primary schools across the Newcastle and Hunter region. She co-hosts Books at the Bowlo, a monthly in-conversation series with authors, and shares monthly book reviews through her Bedside Bookstack project.
