Kathleen McPhillips is a senior lecturer in sociology at the University of Newcastle. Her research expertise is in gender-based violence with a focus on institutional child sexual abuse in religious organisations. Kath has many publications and grants in this field. She is one of the principal organisers of the Loud Sky Art exhibition being held at The Lock Up from 31 March to 15 May 2023.
