BottomJessie Tu is a Taiwanese Australian author, book critic and journalist. Her debut novel, “A Lonely Girl is a Dangerous Thing” won Literary Fiction Book of the Year at the 2021 Australian Book Industry Awards. Her second novel, “The Honeyeater” was published in July 2024 to critical acclaim.
Since 2020, she has been a book critic for The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, and a journalist at Women’s Agenda. Prior to her writing career, Tu worked as a professional violinist.
