Jane Austen Society of Australia

Jane Austen Society Hunter was formed in 2011 and for the past 15 years has held regular meetings on a wide variety of subjects of interest to keen readers, with presentations from members and occasional guest speakers. In addition, special events held by the Society include one-day conferences, a garden party, a Dinner with Mr Darcy, theatre parties to plays adapted from Austen novels, as well as two previous Cover-to-Cover public readings, Pride and Prejudice in 2013 and Persuasion in 2018.
