BottomEvelyn Araluen is a Goorie and Koori poet, editor and educator born and raised in Dharug Country. She is the author of the 2021 Stella Prize winning collection Dropbear, and her latest book, The Rot, was published by the University of Queensland press in 2025. She is the co-editor in-chief of Overland Literary Journal, a director of the Institute of Postcolonial Studies, and a lecturer in Indigenous Arts and Cultural Development at the Wilin Centre.
