BottomErin Pascall works in library programming, supporting community participation and advocating for reading across all ages. With a background spanning education, community planning, and a combined degree in psychology and fine arts, she brings a deep curiosity for understanding what drives creativity and connection. Passionate about literacy for children, young people, and families, Erin champions reading as a shared experience that builds belonging and imagination. She loves exploring the why behind an author’s words and the how of storytelling that inspires others to read, write, and dream.
Newcastle Writers Festival would like to acknowledge the Awabakal and Worimi peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the festival takes place, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and extend this respect to all First Nations people attending our festival.
