Deborah Callaghan

Deborah Callaghan worked as an interstate train stewardess, a librarian, and a freelance journalist before starting a thirty-five-year career in publishing. She was a book publicist, a publisher, and a literary agent working with clients including Peter Garrett, Greg Pickhaver, Ray Martin, Dawn Fraser, Catherine Hamlin, Les Carlyon, Mark Dapin, Mark Waugh, Ernie and Sally Dingo, Debra Byrne, Kerry Stokes and more. As an agent she brokered many of the biggest ever book deals in Australian non-fiction. The Little Clothes is her debut novel. It was described in The Sydney Morning Herald as wise and darkly funny.
