Sally Egan

Sally Egan

Sally Egan has a background in education. Her writing reflects her interest in people as well as her love of nature. The wild and lonely landscape and life around lighthouses is a continuing theme in her writing. Sally is an animal lover with a menagerie at home, and animals often sneak into her writing as characters. Her writing has been featured in ABC Open 500 Words, Home is the Hunter (Catchfire Press) and the 2015 Newcastle Herald Short Story Competition. Sally is planning a novel that centres on sibling separation across Australia’s landscapes.
