Raelee Lancaster is a Brisbane-based writer and researcher. Her academic background is in the fields of ancient history and heritage studies. As a researcher, she works with the Indigenous Strategy and Policy team at Walanga Muru at Macquarie University and with the Foundation of Young Australians as a YLab Associate on a project-to-project basis. She has a keen interest in writing and her creative work centres on poetry. She also enjoys writing short fiction and essays. Her poetry has been published in Rabbit and Westerly: Flux. In 2017, a poem of Raelee’s was shortlisted for the Fair Australia Prize.
