Kathryn Fry


Kathryn Fry lives near Green Point Reserve in Belmont, having moved there from Canberra several years ago. Since then she has had poems published in various anthologies, including Australian Love PoemsA Slow Combusting HymnWatermarkHome is the Hunter, Grieve, ear to earth and the Newcastle Poetry Prize anthologies of 2014 and 2016. In 2017, Kathryn won a mentorship from the Australian Society of Authors to work with the Sydney poet Brook Emery. Green Point Bearings is her first collection and will be launched at this year’s festival.
