Gretel Killeen

Gretel Killeen started her career after dropping out of law studies and accidentally performing comedy while reading a serious poem. Since then she has written several best-selling books, been a leading voice artist, hosted Logie award winning TV and won a Mo Award for her TV presenting. She’s produced TV packages in Afghanistan, been an MC for troops from Iraq to Egypt, the Solomon Islands and East Timor, created community service announcements in India, Bangladesh and Laos and, while a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and directed a documentary to promote awareness of the plight of AIDS orphans in Zambia. Gretel is seen regularly on TV as a social/political commentator, creates as a publisher and live show director and is the lead singer in a pretty appalling band.
