Brett Keeble is an award-winning journalist who left the Newcastle Herald at the end of 2015 after 24 years covering the Knights and the National Rugby League, among other sporting rounds. A fan and spectator of many sports, he began his career as a cadet at the Illawarra Mercury in 1986. His articles have been published in national newspapers and magazines, he wrote Paul Harragon’s biography, One Perfect Day, and he covered volleyball for Fairfax Media at the Sydney Olympic Games. Brett is married with two teenage sons, he coaches and watches basketball in his spare time. He is part of the management team at Newcastle Basketball.
